What we collect
There is no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email or password. When the game is online it creates an anonymous account and stores:
- your progress: solved cases, times and hints used
- your purchases, so they can be restored
- your Game Center or Google Play Games name, shown on the daily leaderboard
- your device’s language
What we use it for
Saving your progress, restoring purchases, ranking the daily leaderboard, answering support email, and stopping cheating.
Who else sees it
Other players see your name and time on the daily leaderboard, nothing else. We do not sell your data. Apple and Google process payments. Our hosting provider stores the data for us. We share it with anyone else only if the law requires it.
Adverts and tracking
None. No adverts, no analytics, no tracking across apps or websites.
Deleting your data
In the game: Settings › Delete account. It is gone from our servers within 30 days. Deleting the app alone does not delete it. To access or export your data, email us.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit between the game and our servers.
Children
LIAR is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
